WELCOME to Unesco Salpausselkä Geopark
Did you know that Vierumäki is located in the UNESCO Salpausselkä Geopark area? The Salpausselkä ridges, left behind after the Ice Age, are the most famous geological entity in Finland. The diversity of the terrain with its eskers, kettle holes and ancient shores forms a unique geological scene, which is at its most spectacular on the Lemmenharju nature trail (4,1 km). You can get more information about our nature from the Outdoor Center in Kaskela!
