Boost Your Turf Expertise with Sports Institute of Finland Vierumäki
Certified Grounds Master Course offers a comprehensive overview of various turf surfaces, their characteristics, and maintenance practices. Participants will explore key topics such as maintenance methods for both natural and artificial turf, soil science and plant nutrition, the role of measurability in monitoring and planning, environmentally responsible turf care, and emerging technologies shaping the future of turf management. The course equips professionals with practical skills and insights to improve pitch maintenance, make sustainable choices, and stay ahead in the evolving turf industry.
Schedule
The spring education will take place on April 20–24, 2026, and the autumn education days will be held on September 2–3, 2026.
Between the on-site days, students independently deepen their understanding of the aspects of natural and artificial turf. Through this program, participants gain the most up-to-date knowledge and skills related to turf surface management, guided by leading experts from Finland and abroad.
The education is organized in cooperation with the Football Association of Finland.
