Vierumäki Arena’s Volttiareena is an approximately 1500-square-metre space dedicated to gymnastics and designed with the needs of athletes and coaches in mind. The high-quality conditions enable goal-oriented training for TeamGym, artistic and acrobatic gymnastics, and are also well-suited for skill and supplementary training in trampoline gymnastics and other sports. The other courts of the Arena are excellent for aesthetic group gymnastics.

Vierumäki can provide mats for TeamGym’s floor routine needs (14 x 16 m) as well as aesthetic group and rhythmic gymnastics (14 x 14 m). The mats can be spread out in the Multipurpose Arena or the Sports Hall.

Smaller facilities suitable for dance and flow gymnastics are provided by the mirrored hall in the Arena and the Kaskela Ball Sports Hall. Both spaces have wooden floors, mirrors, ballet barres and good quality audio equipment. The Arena also has a 14 x 16 m dance mat and movable mirrors.

TeamGym is an action-packed sport that highlights strength in unity. The sport features three competitive performances: a choreographed floor programme, sets of somersaults on a tumbling track and high somersaults performed on a trampet. Doing things together is an essential part of the sport: The team members perform the somersaults back to back, and the floor programme requires seamless cooperation. TeamGym competitions are divided into three sections: women, men and mixed teams.
