Gymnastics is one of Vierumäki’s strategic focus sports. The Sport Institute of Finland and the Finnish Gymnastics Federation are working together to train TeamGym athletes aiming for the international top in the focus sport. This is why the training of the TeamGym national team has been strongly concentrated in Vierumäki’s Volttiarena.

The Sport Institute also offers an excellent setting for aesthetic group gymnastics training camps as well as regional minors’ training camps in women’s artistic gymnastics. The Sport Institute of Finland and the Finnish Gymnastics Federation work together to enable high-quality gymnastics activities and to increase the appeal of gymnastics as a hobby as well as a top sport.
