Rooted in tradition and heading for the top, in future Vierumäki strives to become even more involved in the promotion of sports culture and to produce high-quality coaching, training camp, sports development and training services for different target groups.

We aim to provide optimal coaching and training conditions for reaching the international top in the focus sports prioritised in our new strategy: ice hockey, tennis, figure skating, gymnastics and cheerleading.

We aim to combine the competence resources of different actors into a single functional entity which provides a competitive advantage in the chosen sports and also allows us to lead the way internationally.

The Sport Institute of Finland is also the official training and coaching centre of the Finnish Olympic Committee.

In future, Vierumäki’s financial profits will be largely returned to the focus sports. By using the services in the area, you are contributing to supporting and ensuring the future operating conditions for physical exercise and sports in Finland.
