The Vierumäki gift card is valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. The validity period is printed automatically on the gift card. You can upload a desired amount of value to the Vierumäki gift card and use it either in one go or in parts. Please note that we will not extend the validity period of the gift cards and no additional time will be available for gift cards if only part of the value of the card has been used during its validity period. We do not replace lost or stolen cards or exchange their value for cash.

Move a booking to another time
If you made your booking through the online store, send a message to peruutukset@vierumaki.fi, and tell us which reservation you wish to cancel.
After this, book a new time slot and pay for it. The money for the cancelled reservation will be returned to you if a notification of the cancellation has been received 24 hours before the start of the reservation.Cancel a reservation
Bookings made through the online store are cancelled by sending a message to peruutukset@vierumaki.fi. If the cancellation has taken place 24 hours before the start of the reservation, we will refund the price of the reservation.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: HOTELS AND CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION AND VALKJÄRVI RANTAMÖKKI'S
The following booking and cancellation policy applies to individual reservations for Vierumäki Companies hotels and campus accommodation.
The terms and conditions may differ from this booking and cancellation policy during peak season and special events.
This booking and cancellation policy will be applied from 1 February 2022.
Vierumäki Companies
Vierumäki Companies (hereinafter “Vierumäki”) comprise the following companies: Vierumäki Sports Oy and Suomen Urheiluopiston Kannatusosakeyhtiö.
1\. Booking and payment
The customer must provide a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and payment method when making a booking. The reservation becomes binding for Vierumäki once a confirmation is sent to the customer by e-mail and the customer receives a confirmation number.
2\. Arrival and departure
Your room will be available from 15:00 on the day of arrival, and you must check out by midday on the day of departure. The arrival and departure times in Vierumäki may differ from the ones presented here. If nothing else has been agreed at the time of booking or if no other terms and conditions concerning the selected price or booking date exist, the room will be held for the customer until 18:00 on the date of arrival indicated in the reservation. If the customer arrives later than this, the customer must inform Vierumäki by calling +358 800 870 870. Otherwise, Vierumäki may resell the room.
3\. Terms of payment and invoicing
The accepted payment methods are cash, credit card or debit card. Payment must be made on the day of arrival at Vierumäki’s reception. Vierumäki may require a full or partial advance payment when making a booking for a peak season, during special campaigns or events, or when paying via the online store. If the agreed full or partial advance payment is not paid by the due date,
Vierumäki has the right to cancel the reservation.4\. Cancellation
The customer may cancel an individual room reservation free of charge by 18:00 on the day before arrival. If the customer does not cancel their reservation or fails to arrive, Vierumäki has the right to charge the price of one night and
any other additional services related to the reservation as compensation. Reservations may not include the right of cancellation. Such reservations comprise bookings that are specially priced or concern the high season. It is advisable to check that your travel insurance covers illnesses and cancellation. If Vierumäki has incurred costs for services or arrangements ordered by the customer, such as space bookings, staff costs, decorations, presentation technology, booking of other facilities needed for the order, preparing for special diets or any service ordered from a third party etc., Vierumäki is entitled to charge the customer for the costs incurred, regardless of whether
the reservation has been cancelled or changed in accordance with the cancellation policy.All cancellations must be made in writing by sending an e-mail toperuutukset@vierumaki.fi.
5\. Transfer of the reservation
From the point of view of the cancellation policy, a transfer of the reservation is considered a cancellation and a new reservation. The reservation cannot be transferred to a third party without Vierumäki’s approval.6\. Pets
Vierumäki allows pets in specific accommodations. The bringing of pets into the accommodation must always be agreed separately at the time of booking. We charge an additional fee for bringing pets into the accommodation in accordance with the price list.
7\. Customer’s liability
Vierumäki is not responsible for any objects stored or forgotten in Vierumäki’s premises or area. The customer is responsible for any movable property they bring to the area. Vierumäki recommends that its customers have travel insurance for possible exceptional situations and cases. During their visit, the customer is liable for all their activities in Vierumäki’s premises and area. The customer is liable to compensate for any damage they cause to the environment, real property or movable property to its full extent. The liability also applies to
additional cleaning services required due to the customer’s negligent or wrongful conduct.8\. The customer’s behaviour on Vierumäki’s premises
The customer is obligated to follow good manners and to take into account Vierumäki’s
general rules and regulations. If the customer seriously violates these rules, Vierumäki has the right to immediately cancel the customer’s reservation and to remove the customer from its premises. The customer must then pay the full price of their accommodation and all products and services ordered and will not be able to claim any refunds.9\. Vierumäki’s liability
Vierumäki is not liable for indirect damages or injuries that the customer sustains in activities during their visit, unless the injury is due to a clear lack of general safety in Vierumäki. Vierumäki does not insure the customer for the duration of their visit; instead, the customer is responsible for their own insurance.
10\. Complaints
All complaints related to accommodation and/or service must be addressed directly and without delay to Vierumäki’s customer service already during the stay.
11\. Force Majeure
Vierumäki shall not be liable for delays and damages resulting from an obstacle beyond its control which it cannot reasonably be required to have taken into account and the consequences of which it could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
12\. Customer communications related to the reservation
Vierumäki Sports Oy sends customer communications to
the email address indicated in the booking information. The communications concern, among other things, Vierumäki’s supply of services and instructions. A feedback form will be sent after the stay.Contact details:

VIERUMÄKI
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: HOLIDAY APARTMENTS AND CABINS AND VILLAS
This booking and cancellation policy will apply from 1 February 2022 in the rental of holiday apartments and cabins brokered by Vierumäki Sports Oy.
1\. Booking and payment
The customer must provide a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and payment method when making a booking. The reservation becomes binding for Vierumäki once a confirmation is sent to the customer by e-mail and the customer receives a confirmation number.
2\. Cancelling and changing the reservation
All cancellations must always be made in writing by sending an e-mail to peruutukset@vierumaki.fi. A cancellation is considered to have occurred when Vierumäki Sports Oy receives information about the cancellation.
If the customer cancels the reservation earlier than 28 days before the start of the reservation, the potential prepayment refund will be charged for a non-refundable handling fee of €20.
If the reservation is cancelled later than 28 days before the start of the reservation, the payments made by the customer will not be refunded at all and any rental price that has not yet been paid will be charged to the customer. From the point of view of the cancellation conditions, the transfer of the reservation is considered a cancellation and a new reservation. The reservation cannot be transferred to a third party without Vierumäki's approval.
. It is advisable to check that your travel insurance
covers illnesses and cancellation.If the apartment or cabin is not claimed or if it is claimed late, the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent. If the customer discontinues their reservation and leaves the apartment or cabin before the end of the rental period, no compensation is paid for the unused period and the customer is not entitled to a refund.
3\. The lessor’s right to cancel the reservation
The owner of the apartment or cabin has the right to cancel the reservation earlier than 6 months before the start of the rental period. In case of Force Majeure, the reservation may be cancelled even after this. When the owner of the resort cancels the reservation, the customer is entitled to a refund of the full amount paid. If the reservation has to be cancelled or the rental period has to be discontinued due to the customer’s disorderly behaviour or other breach of policy, the payments will not be refunded.
4\. Stay at the apartment or cabin
The apartment or cabin is available to the customer from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 12:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise stated in the information provided or the booking confirmation. Keys and more detailed instructions need to be picked up from Hotel Fennada’s reception upon arrival in the area. Upon leaving, the keys will be returned to the same location.
The rent includes access to the apartment or cabin booked for the duration of the period reserved. Unless otherwise stated in the information provided or booking confirmation, normal furnishings, cooking and dining utensils, cutlery and bed linen are included in the price. Dishwashing detergents and toilet and kitchen paper, as available on arrival at the destination, are included in the rental price. The rent includes one set of bed linen and towels per person. The customer takes care of cleaning in the apartment or cabin during the holiday. After the stay, normal maintenance cleaning is carried out at the apartment or cabin
by the resort cleaning company. The customer must leave the apartment or cabin in such a condition that maintenance cleaning is possible. If additional cleaning above and beyond normal maintenance cleaning is required, the costs are charged to the customer. More detailed cleaning instructions are provided in the guest information folder.The apartment or cabin may be used by a number of people equal to the number of beds mentioned in the description of the apartment or cabin or agreed in connection with the booking. Celebrations and other events where the number of persons in the apartment or cabin is temporarily exceeded or where other residents may suffer from noise, for example, must be agreed in advance. Quiet hours in the accommodations from 22:00 to 07:00. The use of tents and caravans or rental equipment (e.g. a hot tub) is prohibited on the plot of the apartment or cabin. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and the balconies of the apartment or cabin as well as near exits and ventilation systems.
Guests intending to bring a pet to the apartment or cabin must indicate this at the time of booking.
Pets are only allowed in certain apartments and cabins. An additional fee of
€45 (2022) will be charged for pets.More detailed instructions and rules may be provided in the information concerning the destination and
in the user manual/guest folder of the apartment or cabin. The Customer is obligated to read the guest folder upon arrival at the apartment or cabin.5\. Customer’s obligations and checkout on the day of departure
The customer will check out and hand over the keys of the apartment or cabin by 12:00 on the day of departure at the reception of
Hotel Fennada. Leaving outside the normal opening hours of customer service (e.g. at night) must be agreed in advance with the customer service. The customer is fully liable for any damage caused at the apartment or cabin.Customer service must immediately be notified of any damage caused. The customer is liable to compensate for any damage they cause.
The customer’s final cleaning involves washing the dishes and putting them in their place, taking the rubbish to the waste collection point, removing any empty bottles and cans and putting the furniture in place.
Food supplies will need to be taken away or to the waste collection point. Doors and windows need to be closed and locked. The apartment or cabin must be left in a clean condition upon leaving. The customer is obligated to pay for the costs of cleaning the apartment or cabin if smoking has occurred indoors or if the final cleaning has not been carried out properly or if it has been carried out so poorly that the time used by the cleaning company for cleaning the accommodation before the next customer arrives exceeds that of a normal maintenance cleaning.6\. Force Majeure
Vierumäki Sports Oy is not liable for any damage or cancellation of a reservation caused by an unforeseen force majeure or a similar reason (e.g. power cuts, natural phenomena, an epidemic or animals such as mice and insects) whose consequences cannot reasonably have been avoided or prevented.
7\. Complaints
All complaints related to the apartment or cabin must be addressed directly and without delay as they arise to Vierumäki’s customer service already during the stay. If the customer does not report any shortcomings they have detected to customer service immediately during the rental period, the apartment or cabin is considered to be in a condition that is in accordance with the agreement.
8\. Customer communications related to the reservation
Vierumäki Sports Oy sends customer communications to the email address indicated in the booking information. The communications concern, among other things, Vierumäki’s supply of services and instructions. Vierumäki Sports Oy will send out a feedback form after the stay.
9\. Applicable law and place of dispute
The parties seek to resolve disputes resulting from the agreement by negotiating directly with each other. If no agreement is reached in the negotiations, the dispute will be resolved at first instance in the district court of the area where the apartment or cabin is located. The agreement is governed by Finnish law.

VIERUMÄKI
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: GROUP BOOKINGS
This policy applies to all groups, teams, communities and other entities that use, order, purchase or book accommodation, sports,
restaurant, meeting, sauna and other services provided by Vierumäki Companies as of 1 February 2022.This group policy applies to overnight and day visitor groups that are 10–300 room days or more than 10 people in size. For groups larger than 300 room days in size,
the cancellation terms and conditions are agreed separately at the tendering stage.Room day refers to a one-night booking for one room. For example, a booking of 5 rooms for two nights equals 10 room days. Day visitor groups: the minimum group size is 10 people. Reservations for less than 10 room days or fewer than 10 people are subject to the booking and cancellation policy for an individual reservation.
Vierumäki Companies
Vierumäki Companies (hereinafter “Vierumäki”) comprise the following companies: Vierumäki Sports Oy, Suomen Urheiluopiston Kannatusosakeyhtiö.
1\. Booking and confirmation
The customer must provide a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and payment method when making a booking. The reservation becomes binding for Vierumäki once a confirmation is sent to the customer by e-mail and the customer receives a confirmation number.
2\. Participants
We ask that groups send us a list containing the names of the people in the group and information on how the rooms will be distributed
no later than 10 days before the date of arrival to myynti@vierumaki.fi together with the following information:name of the group and number of people
date of arrival and departure date of the group
name and telephone number of the group leader
estimated time of arrival in Vierumäki
special diets
in the case of foreign groups, dates of birth and passport numbers
3\. Terms of payment and invoicing
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer makes the payment in cash, by debit card or credit card in Vierumäki.
Invoicing requires that the customer have an existing and valid invoicing agreement with Vierumäki. The payment term is 14 days net. Special offers require a combined invoice for the entire group. Invoicing is done in accordance with the confirmed number of people or, if greater than the reported number, according to the actual number of people. An invoice fee of €15 will be added to the invoice. We charge a service fee of €30 to change the invoicing information afterwards.
In larger bookings, Vierumäki may require a full or partial advance payment of the reservation. If
the agreed full or partial advance payment is not made by the due date,
Vierumäki has the right to cancel the reservation.4\. Changes to confirmed bookings
The venue reservation is valid for the number of participants the customer has indicated. If the number of participants changes, Vierumäki has the right to assign another space to the customer and to renegotiate the details and costs of the event.
If Vierumäki has incurred costs for services or arrangements ordered by the customer, such as room reservations, staff costs, decorations, presentation technology, booking of other facilities needed for the order, preparing for special diets or any service ordered from a third party etc., Vierumäki is entitled to charge
the customer for the costs incurred, regardless of whether the reservation has been cancelled or changed in accordance with the cancellation policy. Cancellations must always be made in writing.5\. Cancellation of a confirmed booking.
All cancellations must be made in writing by sending an e-mail toperuutukset@vierumaki.fi.
The cancellation shall be considered to have been received upon its arrival at Vierumäki. The customer has the right to cancel a confirmed event within the following cancellation terms.Cancellations and changes regarding all ordered services of 10–30 room days:
the entire order can be cancelled without costs no later than 14 days before arrival
50 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before arrival;
any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full price25 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 3 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full pricefull price will be charged for all cancellations and reductions in the number of participants made less than 3
days before the start of the event
Cancellations and changes regarding all ordered services of 31–99 room days:
the entire order can be cancelled without costs no later than 28 days before arrival
50 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 14 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full price25 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full pricefull price will be charged for all cancellations and reductions in the number of participants made less than 7
days before the start of the event
Cancellations and changes regarding all ordered services of 100–300 room days:
the entire order can be cancelled without costs no later than 2 months before arrival
50 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 45 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full price25 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 28 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full price10 % of the number of services ordered can be cancelled free of charge no later than 14 days before
arrival; any cancelled services beyond this percentage will be charged full pricefull price will be charged for all cancellations and reductions in the number of participants made less than 2 weeks
before the start of the event.
The minimum invoice basis for events (day visitor groups) is
the number of participants confirmed to Vierumäki:7 days before the event (groups smaller than 30 people)
14 days before the event (groups of 31–50 people)
21 days before the event (groups larger than 50 people)
The full price will be charged for any cancellations or reductions in the number of participants made after these time limits.
Sports, sauna, meeting and other facilities (day visitor groups) reserved by groups (over 10 people):
The reservations can be cancelled without expense no later than 14 days before the reservation
50 % of the reservations can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before arrival; any cancellation beyond this
percentage will be charged full price.25 % of the reservations can be cancelled free of charge no later than 3 days before arrival; any cancellation beyond this
percentage will be charged full price.All cancellations made less than 3 days before use of the facility will be charged full price.
The terms do not apply to the rental of the entire Multipurpose Arena, Sports Hall or Tennis and Padel Hall. The booking and cancellation policy for renting an entire hall will be agreed
at the tender stage.
6\. Illness or other compelling reason
If a group member’s reservation is cancelled due to their or their family member’s sudden illness, accident, authority-assigned quarantine, or death, the customer is
entitled to a refund of 50 % of the amount paid. The cancellation must be made before
the start of the stay. In order to make a refund, a medical certificate or some other reliable report must be submitted to Vierumäki Sports Oy within 14 days of the cancellation. If certificates are delivered after this date, no refund shall be made. Cancellations made during the stay or discontinuation of the stay are considered no grounds for refund. It is advisable to check the coverage of the travel insurance for cancellation of the trip.7\. Transfer of the reservation
From the point of view of the cancellation policy, a transfer of the reservation is considered a cancellation and a new reservation. The reservation cannot be transferred to a third party without Vierumäki’s approval.8\. Quota bookings
Guaranteed quota
In the guaranteed quota, the customer receives a confirmation of a certain number of rooms. A final booking date is agreed for the room reservations, after which any unbooked rooms will be removed from the quota. The party that booked the quota is also responsible for cancellations of individual reservations as well as for any cancellation costs in accordance with the cancellation policy above. We follow the cancellation policy for group bookings.Open quota
In the open quota, the customer receives special room rates and
an expiry date for the special room rates. The availability of the rooms is subject to hotel availability, and the number of rooms is not guaranteed. Individual reservations booked at a special rate can be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy for normal individual bookings.9\. Other terms and conditions
Venue arrangements
The person who makes the group reservation agrees on the arrangements and furnishings at the venue with Vierumäki’s sales before the start of the event. If Vierumäki needs to reorganise any furniture or facilities at the customer’s request less than 3 days before the start of the event, we will charge €35 per hour per employee (minimum invoicing 35 €) for the work.10\. Customer’s liability
Vierumäki is not responsible for any objects stored or forgotten in Vierumäki’s premises or area. The customer is responsible for any movable property they bring to the area. The customer is obligated to protect the premises and furnishings they rent from damage. The customer is liable for any damage caused to the property or movable property of the hotel by the customer’s equipment, staff, guests, performers or participants of the booking-related event. The customer undertakes to follow the instructions of the hotel staff regarding the use of the building, furnishings and equipment. The customer is responsible for the reservation in its entirety.
11\. Vierumäki’s liability
Vierumäki is not liable for indirect damages or injuries that the customer sustains in activities during their visit, unless the injury is due to a clear lack of general safety in Vierumäki. This booking policy applies to the rental of holiday apartments and cabins between the owner of the apartment or cabin and the customer (end user) brokered by Vierumäki Sports Oy. This policy binds the lessor and the customer after the customer has made a reservation and a booking confirmation has been sent.
Definitions
Apartment or cabin refers to the apartment or cabin for rent. Customer refers to an end user who rents an apartment or cabin and makes a reservation in accordance with this booking policy. Owner of the apartment or cabin is the owner of the apartment or cabin to be rented, who acts as the lessor and a contracting party to the customer under this booking policy.
Vierumäki Sports Oy is an operator that markets and brokers various apartments and cabins located in the Vierumäki area and manages reservations and rentals on behalf of the owners of the apartments and cabins. Vierumäki Sports Oy is not a party in the booking and renting of any apartment or cabin outlined in this booking policy.
Booking and payment
The customer (the person making the reservation) must be of legal age (18 years of age) at the time of booking. The booking can be made via the online store or through the sales service. The booking may be made subject to a full or partial payment. When payment is required, the customer’s reservation request will not become valid before the payment has been made. If no payment is made, the lessor has the right to cancel the customer’s reservation request.
The reservation will come into force and be confirmed through a booking confirmation sent to the customer. When booking via the online store and if payment is required and the customer pays the full amount of the reservation at the time of booking, the customer will receive a confirmation of the reservation immediately at the time of booking. In bookings made through the sales service, a separate booking confirmation is sent to the customer.
Cancelling and changing the reservation

If the customer cancels the reservation earlier than 28 days before the start of the reservation, the potential prepayment refund will be charged for a non-refundable handling fee of €20. If the booking is cancelled 28 days before the start of the rental period or later, the payments made by the customer will not be refunded at all and any rental price that has not yet been paid will be charged to the customer. In addition, the owner of the apartment or cabin always has the right to recover from the customer the costs of additional services ordered by the customer that cannot be cancelled. If the customer changes the reservation (apartment or cabin, dates, additional services or number of persons), any additional costs will be charged to the customer.
If the apartment or cabin is not claimed or if it is claimed late, the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent. If the customer discontinues their reservation and leaves the apartment or cabin before the end of the rental period, no compensation is paid for the unused period and the customer is not entitled to a refund.
The lessor’s right to cancel the reservation

even if the customer chooses to leave at another time. Leaving outside the normal opening hours of customer service (e.g. at night) must be agreed in advance with the customer service. The customer is fully liable for any damage caused at the apartment or cabin.
Customer service must immediately be notified of any damage caused. The customer is liable to compensate the owner of the apartment or cabin and the rental broker for any damage caused.
The customer’s final cleaning involves washing the dishes and putting them in their place, taking the rubbish to the waste collection point, removing any empty bottles and cans and putting the furniture in place. Food supplies will need to be taken away or to the waste collection point. Doors and windows need to be closed and locked. The apartment or cabin must be left in a clean condition upon leaving. The customer is obligated to pay for the costs of cleaning the apartment or cabin if smoking has occurred indoors or if the final cleaning has not been carried out properly or if it has been carried out so poorly that the time used by the cleaning company for cleaning the accommodation before the next customer arrives exceeds that of a normal maintenance cleaning.
Force Majeure
The owner of the apartment or cabin is not liable for any damage suffered by the customer or cancellation of a reservation caused by an unforeseen force majeure or a similar reason (e.g. power cuts, natural phenomena, epidemic or animals such as mice and insects) whose consequences cannot reasonably have been avoided or prevented.
Complaints
All complaints related to the apartment or cabin must be addressed directly and without delay as they arise to Vierumäki’s customer service already during the stay. If the customer does not report any shortcomings they have detected to customer service immediately during the rental period, the apartment or cabin is considered to be in a condition that is in accordance with the agreement.
Applicable law and place of dispute
The parties seek to resolve disputes resulting from the agreement by negotiating directly with each other. If no agreement is reached in the negotiations, the dispute will be resolved at first instance in the district court of the area where the apartment or cabin is located. The agreement is governed by Finnish law. In situations where the owner of the apartment or cabin is a trader, the customer may have the right to refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) and/or to contact Consumer Advisory Services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). -
VIERUMÄKI
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: COURSES, CAMPS AND THE TESTING STATION
The following booking and cancellation policy applies to reservations on individual courses and tests organised by Vierumäki Companies.
This booking and cancellation policy will be applied from 1 May 2022.
Vierumäki Companies
Vierumäki Companies (hereinafter “Vierumäki”) comprise the following companies: Vierumäki Sports Oy and Suomen Urheiluopiston Kannatusosakeyhtiö.
1\. Booking and payment
The customer must provide a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and payment method when making a booking. The reservation becomes binding for Vierumäki once a confirmation is sent to the customer by e-mail and the customer receives a confirmation number.
2\. Terms of payment and invoicing
The accepted payment methods are cash, credit card or debit card. Vierumäki may also require that courses or tests be paid in advance, for example, in the online store at the time of booking. If the agreed full or partial advance payment is not paid by the due date, Vierumäki has the right to cancel the reservation.
3\. Cancellation
3.1 Course and camp reservations
The customer may cancel a single course reservation free of charge 14 days before the beginning of the course. Some courses may not include the right to cancel, but this is indicated in the marketing material. It is advisable to check that your travel insurance covers illnesses and cancellation. If Vierumäki has incurred costs for services or arrangements ordered by the customer, such as space bookings, staff costs, decorations, presentation technology, booking of other facilities needed for the order, preparing for special diets or any service ordered from a third party etc., Vierumäki is entitled to charge the customer for the costs incurred, regardless of whether the reservation has been cancelled or changed in accordance with the cancellation policy. Cancellation of confirmed accommodation and course reservations, we charge €20 for office and processing costs.
All cancellations must be made in writing by sending an e-mail to peruutukset@vierumaki.fi.
3.2 The testing station
INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS
The customer must cancel their testing slot by 3 p.m. on the Friday preceding the week of testing – otherwise the tests reserved will be charged according to the original order. Cancellation of confirmed accommodation and course reservations, we charge €20 for office and processing costs.
A delay of 15 minutes may result in the testing being cancelled or in the reduction of the size of testing package, as the allotted time may not be sufficient for the completion of the entire testing package. In these cases, the testing will be charged according to the original order.
The testing may furthermore be restricted or it will not be carried out at all for safety reasons if the testee is ill, has a respiratory and circulatory disease or other disease restricting high-intensity exercise, or if the testee is significantly overweight or under the influence of alcohol.
In case of illness, changes before the testing can be made on presentation of a medical certificate.
GROUPS
The customer must cancel the testing in accordance with the cancellation policy for group bookings – otherwise the tests will be charged in accordance with the interpretation of the cancellation policy. Cancellation of confirmed accommodation and course reservations, we charge €20 for office and processing costs.
Any changes in group size must be reported in accordance with the terms and conditions of group bookings – otherwise the tests will be charged according to the original order.A delay of 15 minutes may result in the testing being cancelled or in the reduction of the size of the testing package, as the time allotted to the group may not be sufficient for the completion of the entire testing package. 4\. Transfer of the reservationFrom the point of view of the cancellation policy, a transfer of the reservation is considered a cancellation and a new reservation. The reservation cannot be transferred to a third party without Vierumäki’s approval.
5\. Customer’s liability
Vierumäki is not responsible for any objects stored or forgotten in Vierumäki’s premises or area. The customer is responsible for any movable property they bring to the area. Vierumäki recommends that its customers have travel insurance for possible exceptional situations and cases. During their visit, the customer is liable for all their activities in Vierumäki’s premises and area. The customer is liable to compensate for any damage they cause to the environment, real property or movable property to its full extent. The liability also applies to
additional cleaning services required due to the customer’s negligent or wrongful conduct.6\. The customer’s behaviour on Vierumäki’s premises
The customer is obligated to follow good manners and to take into account Vierumäki’s
general rules and regulations. If the customer seriously violates these rules, Vierumäki has the right to immediately cancel the customer’s reservation and to remove the customer from its premises. The customer must then pay the full price of their accommodation and all products and services ordered and will not be able to claim any refunds.7\. Vierumäki’s liability
Vierumäki is not liable for indirect damages or injuries that the customer sustains in activities during their visit, unless the injury is due to a clear lack of general safety in Vierumäki. Vierumäki does not insure the customer for the duration of their visit; instead, the customer is responsible for their own insurance.
8\. Complaints
All complaints related to accommodation and/or service must be addressed directly and without delay to Vierumäki’s customer service already during the stay.
9\. Force Majeure
Vierumäki shall not be liable for delays and damages resulting from an obstacle beyond its control which it cannot reasonably be required to have taken into account and the consequences of which it could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
10\. Customer communications related to the reservation
Vierumäki Sports Oy sends customer communications to
the email address indicated in the booking information. The communications concern, among other things, Vierumäki’s supply of services and instructions. A feedback form will be sent after the stay.Contact details:

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: EDUCATION
The conditions apply to professional and special vocational degree trainings, long trainings for liberal arts work (e.g. masseuse training program, Johtaja-Tahko training program, Seura-Tahko, etc.) and further trainings carried out by the Vierumäki Education. In commercial trainings invoiced through Vierumäki Sports Oy, the general cancellation conditions are followed.These booking and cancellation conditions will be observed from February 9, 2024.
Terms of payment and cancellation of the training fees of the Sports Association of FinlandPayment terms for training courses
The training fee can be paid in 1–4 installments according to the payment terms of each training. Education fees must be paid by the stated due dates. Unpaid invoices go to debt collection.

Conditions for canceling training courses
The conditions apply to professional and specialized vocational qualification trainings, trainings for liberal arts work (e.g. massage therapist training program, Johtaja-Tahko training program, Seura-Tahko, etc.) and further trainings carried out by Vierumäki Education. The general cancellation policy is followed in commercial trainings that are invoiced by Vierumäki Sports Oy.
If you cancel your study place before the first part-time study period or the orientation day, the education fee is not charged.
If you cancel your place of study after the training has started, within 14 days of the first day of part-time study, 50% of the first installment of the training will be charged.
If you stop your studies later than 14 days after the first day of part-time studies, the education fee you paid will not be refunded. If you have paid the entire training fee, you have the opportunity to participate in the remaining studies in the next corresponding training process at no additional cost.
If studies are interrupted due to health reasons, the education fee for the remaining studies can be refunded. In this case, the student must notify the matter immediately and submit a medical certificate to the study office within 14 days of the notification of termination of studies.
If the training has to be canceled on behalf of the training organizer, the student is entitled to a refund of the participation fee.
Announcing the cancellation of a place of study or the termination of studies
Cancellation of a study place and termination of studies must always be notified in writing to the teacher who is responsible for the education and the study office: opintotoimisto@vierumaki.fi
Vierumäki's general reservation and cancellation policy are followed for accommodation reservations for vocational and specialized vocational qualification trainings.
The payment and cancellation policy for the trainings have been approved by the Finnish Sports Institute's training service development group on February 9, 2024.
